NKFM: No-cost PATH workshops help you live well with type 2 diabetes

DPATH “provided not only solid information on diabetes, but also provided coping skills for leading a healthier lifestyle,” states Rosemarie Schultz from Shelby Township. “This is a very valuable program that can be applied to anyone with a chronic health condition… The tools include action plans to set goals, rewarding yourself, using meditation and proper sleep to take care of your emotional well-being, finding resources and communicating with healthcare professionals.”

This interactive workshop is just one of many distance-learning options on disease prevention, disease management and physical activity for all ages now provided by the NKFM. For more information, visit nkfm.org/distancelearning or call 800-482-1455.
