Joshua Radin with Tow’rs | Ann Arbor

Listening to Joshua Radin’s music feels healing to the soul. You may recognize a few of his songs, including the popular “I’d Rather Be With You” and “Brand New Day,” which are both reflective, hopeful and filled with emotion. Rachmaninoff Symphony No. 2 | Ann Arbor

Principal clarinet Chad Burrow rejoins the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and music director candidate Morihiko Nakahara in Bright Sheng’s Wild Swan concerto, in addition to French composer Lili Boulanger’s D’un matin de printemps. Movie Magic | Ann Arbor

Calling all movie buffs! The season finale of the A2 Symphony Orchestra’s pops series is Movie Magic, which features a collection of music derived from some of your favorite movie scores. Conductor Joshua Hong and the symphony will perform music from movies like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Dunkirk, The Lion King, and many more. Get tickets to this magical, cinematic evening at Michigan Theater.


Saline Spring Craft Show | Saline

Each year, the Saline Craft Show hosts two events, including the first one taking place in March! Peruse more than 150 craft booths filled with a variety of handcrafted products. Benefitting both the craft show customers and the school community, students get the chance to take on leadership roles and show off their talents. There will also be a gift basket contest where you can vote on your favorite basket by putting money in the voting box. Proceeds for the contest will benefit the Saline Area Social Service.


Ann Arbor Film Festival | Ann Arbor

Where: Michigan Theater

When: March 22–27, 2022

One of Ann Arbor’s most important annual events, the Ann Arbor Film Festival, presents 40 programs with more than 180 films from over 20 countries that highlight all lengths and genres, including experimental, animation, documentary, fiction and performance-based works. Founded by George Manupelli in 1963, the festival is the oldest avant-garde and experimental film festival in North America. Home, Garden and Lifestyle Show | Ann Arbor

Where: Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds

Don’t miss the Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show at Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds! This is your opportunity to connect with builders, suppliers, designers and tradespeople to help with your at-home projects. Visit with more than 150 exhibitors specializing in both interior and exterior work, enjoy concessions, and sit in on a presentation or two. Admission is just $5 cash at the door for adults and is free for children under 12. Or subscribe to their email list to receive free admission!


Ann Arbor Orchid Festival | Ann Arbor

Where: Matthaei Botanical Gardens

When: March 19 + 20, 2022

Celebrate the start of spring with the return of the annual Ann Arbor Orchid Festival, one of our favorite flower-filled events in the city. For two days, visit the Matthaei Botanical Gardens to admire displays of award-winning orchids. Plus, you can purchase orchids and orchid care supplies, listen to free talks and demonstrations on the art of orchid growing, and take part in an orchid raffle! Admission to this event is free.



2022 Fly Fishing Film Tour | Ann Arbor

Where: Michigan Theater

When: March 5, 2022

The Fly Fishing Film Tour travels the country each year in an effort to promote the sport and support local fly shops. You can purchase $20 tickets online, but if you get yours at Schultz Outfitters in Ypsilanti, you get a discount and a portion of that purchase helps support the conservation work that keeps fisheries intact, healthy and available for us all to enjoy. In past years, the tour has raised over $500,000!


Shamrocks & Shenanigans 5K | Ann Arbor

Where: Conor O’Neill’s

When: March 13, 2022

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Shamrocks & Shenanigans 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ K! This fun and exciting race winds through downtown Ann Arbor and benefits Save a Heart, an organization that raises funds to benefit patients and their families who come to the Michigan Congenital Heart Center at C.S. Old-Time Maple Sugar Festival | Chelsea

Where: Eddy Discovery Center

Hosted by the Waterloo Natural History Association, the Old Time Maple Sugar Festival celebrates the coming of spring and the tapping of maple trees. Take a guided walk through the Waterloo Recreation Area to see various methods of collecting sap and learn how to boil it down to create maple syrup. Plus, antique syrup-making equipment will be on display and maple products will be available for purchase! This event is completely free to attend.


The 5th Annual Lucky’s St. Patrick’s Day Crawl | Ann Arbor
