Competitive Cheer: Dreadnaughts third at Brighton Invitational

The Dexter varsity competitive cheer team had a strong showing during the Brighton’s Best Invitational on Jan. 8 at Brighton. The Dreadnaughts finished third overall in a competitive Division 2 field with 696.88 points.

The Dreadnaughts scored 216.8 points in round one, 205.68 points in round two and 274.4 points in round three for a total of 696.88 points.

Southgate Anderson took first place with 773.76 and Charlotte was second with 730.16.

Fenton was fourth with 680.08 points, Swartz Creek was fifth (672.32) and Fowlerville sixth (647.40).
