Chelsea State Bank Announces Kalusha, Turnbow Promotions

CHELSEA – The Board of Director of Chelsea State Bank recently announced the promotions of Dawn M. Kalusha to Vice President and Heather Turnbow to Officer of the Bank.

“I am pleased to announce the promotions of Dawn and Heather,” said Chelsea State Bank President and CEO Joanne Rau. “Both Dawn and Heather have provided excellent customer service for our Bank over the years. Our customers have come to rely on Dawn to help them obtain consumer loans, including personal and auto loans and home mortgages. And Heather has provided our staff and customers with the knowledge they need to learn about and secure our deposit products, including our Kasasa accounts.” 

Dawn Kalusha is promoted to Vice President.

Kalusha has 27 years of community banking experience. She joined Chelsea State Bank in 2011 as a Consumer Loan Officer and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2012. Prior to joining Chelsea State Bank, Kalusha was a Branch Manager and Loan Officer for another community bank.

Kalusha is a registered Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO), NMLS # 441382. She is a graduate of the Robert M. Perry School of Banking and holds a license in Title Insurance.  She has also obtained her Branch Manager Certification from the Michigan Bankers Association. Kalusha is the treasurer of Stockbridge Community Outreach. She and her family reside in Stockbridge. 

Heather Turnbow is promoted to Officer.

Turnbow began her banking career 21 years ago when she joined Chelsea State Bank as a Teller in the Drive-Up Service Window at the Chelsea Main Plaza office in 2000. Over the years, Heather progressed to Lobby Teller and into her current position as New Account Representative and Staff Trainer.

Turnbow’s desire to help people carries into her community service as well. She has produced and directed a Musical Benefit Dinner for the Chelsea Senior Center for two years, volunteers with Reformers Unanimous – a Faith Based Addictions program and has volunteered with Rock of Ages Prison Ministry and facilitated Women’s Bible Studies in the Jackson Jail. Turnbow and her family reside in Chelsea.
