Baseball: Parachek blanks Bulldogs as Dreads win third straight over Chelsea

For the third time in three days, the Dexter baseball team knocked off rival Chelsea. The Dreadnaughts scored four runs in the first inning and Brennan Paracheck kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard for all seven innings in a 4-0 win.

Dexter swept Chelsea in a doubleheader on Monday.

Parachek was dealing from the get-go. He fanned nine Bulldogs and allowed just two hits and two walks while throwing 92 pitches over seven innings.

The offense did all the damage in the first inning. Dexter managed only three hits but scored four times in the bottom of the first.

Braeden Fuson had a hit and a run, Joey Tessmer had a hit and a run and Cam Rosen had a hit, run scored and an RBI for the Dreadnaughts.

Dexter will play two at Jackson on Saturday.
