St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea receives “A” grade for patient safety

CHELSEA, Mich. — Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, which assigns A, B, C, D and F letter grades to hospitals nationally for protecting patients from harm and having the highest safety standards, announced that St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea received an “A” ranking on its Spring 2019 scorecard.  This is the fourteenth “A” ranking for the hospital.

The Hospital Safety Grade’s methodology is peer-reviewed and fully transparent, and the results are free to the public.
