NEIGHBORHOOD SPOTLIGHT: Walnut Ridge, Laurentide, Newport Creek

This edition of Neighborhood Spotlight looks at a cluster of subdivisions nestled into a residential nook between the Huron River and downtown Ann Arbor — Walnut Ridge, Laurentide, and Newport Creek.

These three neighborhoods visually exemplify why this town is called Ann Arbor, with numerous trees forming a think residential canopy. There are also a number of parks, wilderness trails, boating and fishing access, and the 51 acre Bird Hills Nature all nearby.

If you’d like to learn more about trio of neighborhoods that exist in the midst of so much natural beauty while being just a stone’s throw from downtown Ann Arbor and haven’t done so already, have a look at the Ewing Professionals commissioned and Digital Agent produced spotlight video above to be visually swept through Barton Hills while hearing further details about it’s interesting inception and history.
