Automobile Child Safety Seat Program at the Dexter District Library

The right seat, the right fit, every time. This is the goal of Mott Children’s Hospital when it comes to making sure all children are traveling safely in vehicles. Join hospital representative Betsy Mott at the Dexter District Library on Tuesday, June 13 at 6:30 pm for a program on how to make sure your children are buckled up and traveling safely in your car.

The Mott Children’s Hospital provides volunteers to present information session and teach parents the proper way to install child safety seats in their cars. The program will discuss the variety of seats available for children birth through middle school and discuss how age, height and weight all play factors in choosing and installing the proper seat.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to register for in-person seat fittings at Mott’s Dexter fitting station, held monthly at LaFontaine Chevrolet in Dexter.

This is a great opportunity to receive free, expert advice on how to make sure your children are as safe as possibly while traveling by car. This program is free and open to the public. Call the Library at 426-4477 for more information on this program.
