Audio: School Elections In Focus At Candidate Forum

school elections

Six candidates seeking two full six-year terms and one partial two-year term on the Dexter Community Schools Board of Education participated in a special session of the Dexter Forum Monday night at Creekside Intermediate School.

Julie Schumaker, Tom Diab, and Daryl Kipke will be on the ballot for the two full terms and Dick Lundy, Shawn Letwin, and Marlo Rojeck are seeking the partial term, and in the case of any of these seats the public will have these candidates involved in district affairs for many years to come so the Dexter public should take every opportunity to learn about these candidates.

WeLoveDexter.com is immediately publishing the entire audio of the Q&A, which lasted roughly 90 minutes and involved each candidate giving an introduction, panel questions being asked of each candidate, and then public questions being channeled to an even distribution of the candidates.

We will publish a full transcription and traditional news story covering this important election learning opportunity during the day tomorrow.

Below is an embed of the audio file.
