August Events for All Ages at Dexter District Library

On August 5, the Dexter District Library wrapped up another amazing Summer Reading Program, attracting a record number of families to the Library. Over 1,400 Dexter area children, teens and adults participated in sports-themed programs which encouraged everyone to continue reading throughout the summer. Remember to complete your reading records and enter the Grand Prize Drawing by August 14. This year’s drawing will be held on August 15 and we’ll be giving away tickets to a Detroit Tigers Baseball game, the Toledo Zoo, Greenfield Village, various local theater venues as well as gift cards and gift certificates. Kids and teens who have completed the reading program may pick up goody bags full of prizes until Labor Day so keep reading for fun for the remainder of the summer.
