Red Cross hosts Blood Drive July 18

“Here they come to save the day!”

Ever dream of saving a life?

Maybe more than one?

Ever wish you had a cape to wear with “superman” on it?

You don’t need to leap tall buildings with a single bound, you only need to show up and give blood – just a little pint – when the American Red Cross holds its next Blood Drive at St. Andrew’s Church from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 18.

You can park your car or walk on down and boldly enter the church at 7610 Ann Arbor, corner of Inverness. Use the entrance on Fourth with the maroon awning. Then prepare to roll up your sleeve and become a life saver – it’s easy to do and you can lie down while doing it. Batman can’t do that.

Donation times are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. that day and you can make an appointment by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767.

Be a hero in your own town. And get a cookie or two after you donate.
