A local area pharmacist realized that one of the orders they were about to fill was fraudulent, Wednesday, April 6, so they called 911. The Dexter Branch of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office responded to the prescription address, at the 5600 block of Jackson Road. There, they arrested a 21 year old Detroit man. Afterwards, a 19 year old man Westland man came to the location to pick up the prescription. They were both taken to the Washtenaw County Jail.

Deputies pulled over a car near the corner of Parkland and Eagle Point Drive at 10:20 p.m., April 6. One of the two people inside was a 21 year old Chelsea man. He was arrested on a bench warrant, and taken to the Washtenaw County Jail. While searching the car, they found an unspecified amount of marijuana. The other passenger, a 20 year old Chelsea man, was released at the scene.

Two men were engaged in yard work at the 5800 block of Interface Drive, Monday, April 11. Deputies say that the two of them knew each other and did not get along. A 32 year old man from Napoleon, Michigan, was arrested for assaulting the other, a 54 year old Chelsea man. Deputies are seeking charges with the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.
