This Friday, February 12 at 1:00 pm the Leslie Science & Nature Center will be at Dexter District Library to present “Hunters of the Sky”, a live animal presentation.

All Dexter Community Schools will be closed, join us for an entertaining and educational event for ages four and up. Expert wildlife handlers will bring a variety of birds of prey to the Library to captivate your imagination and educate your mind.

Learn all there is to know about hawks, falcons, owls, vultures and other wild species while meeting these birds face-to-face. Having suffered permanent injuries, most of the raptors used in this event have come through the River Raisin Raptor Center educational program.

Their visit helps support the birds’ care and raise awareness and appreciation for their wild relatives. Registration is not required, everyone is welcome.
