K of C Chicken Broil On Track for Weekend Sellout, as of Sunday afternoon still serving

If you’re reading this before 6 p.m. on Sunday there are still two or three hours to get out to the Columbus Hall and Banquet Center on Dexter-Chelsea Road for a very fine chicken dinner served up by Knights of Columbus volunteers.

There are 900 total dinners available for the whole weekend, half of which sold out during the day Saturday, which K of C volunteers feel confident about repeating today.

Proceeds go to various charitable and public service oriented organizations and endeavors, such as the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, which serves the entire region if not the state and beyond, as far as the scope of its services provided for intellectual and developmental disabled population.

Watch the below video for more information, a view of the regular “chix broils” put on by the Knights, and also a little eye candy (chicken).
