There’s fun to be had at Apple Daze still, despite the rain

Apple Daze 2015 is still ongoing despite the rain, although visitors might want to stick to the tents or bring their ponchos and umbrellas.

The festivities will go until 5 p.m. and include games, music, balloon animals, and some of the bolder classic car owners who would not be deterred from showing off their sweet rides by a little precipitation.

Those who want to take a hay ride can still do so, although organizers are flipping the hay bales often so there’s a dry place to rest on the way to the Dexter Cider Mill.

If none of that is enough of an enticement against a little inclement weather, think about missing the pie-eating contest.

You wouldn’t want to miss that, now would you?
