Friends of the Dexter District Library holds two-day used book sale starting first day of Dexter Daze

This November 8 let's all be "Friends of the Dexter District Library" for the good of the community.

Once again, the Friends of the Dexter Library will expand their used book sale over the course of the two-day Dexter Daze Festival, Aug. 14 and Aug. 15.

Thousands of titles, fiction and non-fiction, will be available for purchase with many areas of interest for children, teens, and adults. The sale includes all of the usual great selections but many times bigger than the regular monthly sales.

Included this year will be a special collection of vintage science fiction magazines and a number of board games.

Most prices range from 25 cents to $2.00, with the exception of gift books and vintage items which will still be bargain priced.

Donations of books, paper boxes, and moving boxes are always appreciated and can be delivered to the librarians any time during regular library hours which are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Sale Hours: Friday, Aug. 14, 12 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 15, 9 to 3 p.m., followed by a $5 per bag sale 3:15 to 4:30 p,m. Bags will be provided.
