Around Town: Things to do around town March 13-19

It looks like spring as sprung! Get out in the sun with some of these great local events March 13 through 19.

Friday, March 13

Cabin Fever Crafts: The Dexter District Library is hosting a simple crafts events for little ones 6-years-old and younger. No registration is required, just stop by the library at 1 p.m.

Fish Fry: Head down to the Knights of Columbus Banquet Hall for their weekly Lenten Fish Fry Fridays. The dinner lasts from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and features an all-you-can-eat buffet. Tickets are$10 for adults, $6 for children and $9 for takeout meals.

Saturday, March 14

Run 3.14 Pi: Runners are welcome to celebrate Pi Day with a 3.14-mile fun run at Hudson Mills Metropark. More information can be found here.

Music of Ireland: Get ready for St. Patrick’s Day through music at the Dexter District Library. At 1 p.m. the library will be hosting the Ann Arbor Celtic Harpers and Cleary’s Pub Session Band.

Monday, March 16

Merlin: Stop into the Dexter District Library at 11 a.m. to experience some family-friendly fun with Merlin the Magnificent’s famous magic show.  Admission is free and all are welcome.
