The Dexter branch of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office dealt with four incidents in the last week, in the Dexter area.

There was a vandalism case on the 7300 block of Dexter-Ann Arbor Road, on the 21st. This was at 2 p.m. But because the suspect is a minor, with special needs, the sheriff’s department would make no further comment.

At 11:28 p.m., Thursday evening, someone threw a rock through a house window on the 7700 block of Fourth Street. The victim says they have no enemies who would do this. There were no witness or suspects.

A car was broken into sometime on the night before Friday, the 23rd. The car owner left their car unlocked on the 7600 block of Grand Street overnight. When the owner returned, they discovered their wallet was gone. Inside the wallet were the victim’s ID and several credit cards. Deputies advised the victim to cancel all the credit cards and will be doing a check on its recent activity to see if it’s been used.

The window’s of two cars were broken in, on the 26th, sometime between noon and 5 p.m. This was on the 8000 block of Main Street. Deputies say that one bag of clothes was stolen from one of the cars. There are no suspects as of yet.
