The Dexter branch of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office dealt with 4 reported incidents, in the greater Dexter area, over the course of the last week.
Deputies responded to a call for domestic violence on the 9200 block of Huron River Drive, Wednesday, the 4th, at 7:38 p.m. As this involves a 13-year old, the sheriff’s office would make no further comment.
A U of M parking pass was stolen from an unlocked car, on the 200 block of Scio Village Crescent, Thursday, November 5th. The victim says they parked their car overnight and it was gone when they came back to their car.
Another car was broken into in the 100 block of April Drive, in the early afternoon of Friday, November 6th. The front passenger window was broken in and their wallet was taken. This included a number of credit cards, which the Sheriff’s office says have already been cancelled. They said they don’t believe that the cards were used for fraudulent purchases.
Another car was reported broken into on the 3900 block of Jackson Road, on the 7th, at 4:53 p.m. The victim parked their car at a business that afternoon. Some time between 3:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon, a piece of broken asphalt was used to break the front passenger window. Nothing was reported stolen.
