Dexter flexed its collective muscle on Thursday in an easy 154-27 win at Lincoln in an SEC White Division dual-meet.
The Dreads swept the opening medley relay: The team of Lizzy Merriman, Annette Schultz, Kate Mesaros and Gretchen Schultz took first (1:54.02); the team of Grace Kacmarek, Sarah Zofchak, Amelia Kinnard and Hannah Quist took second (1:59.91); and the team of Danielle Westman, Allison Wyka, Madeline Kaufman and Annie Spidel took third (2:11.73).
And just like that it was 14-0. And just like that Dexter was off to the races.
Rachel Clark won the 200 freestyle in 2:18.65 with teammate Gretchen Heidebrink in second (2:21.11) and Linda Colosky third (2:23.28).
The Dreads swept the 200 IM with Addie Carr taking first (2:28.74), Becca Clark taking second (2:41.57) and Elisabeth Johanson third (2:50.87).
Mesaros sprinted to a first place in the 50 free (26.53) with Kaufman in second (27.44) and Maisch in third (29.32).
Popi Vorias was second in diving (198.15 points) and Sarah Horowitz third (154.5).
Westman took first in the butterfly in 1:05.31 to lead a Dexter sweep with Quist in the second (1:07.66) and Wyka third (1:15.78).
Annette Schultz won the 100 free in 53.46 with Kinnard second (56.63) and Mesaros third (58.56).
Jordan Maisch won the 500 free in 5:52.48 with Heidebrink second in 6:09.78.
The Dreads won the 200 free relay as the team of Annette Schultz, Wyka, Westman and Gretchen Schultz taking first in 1:46.75.
Merriman backed her way into first place with a time of 1:04.85 in the backstroke. Zofchak was second in 1:08.23 and Clark third in 1:14.06.
Gretchen Schultz won the breaststroke in 1:12.81 with Kacmarek second in 1:17.93 and Carr third in 1:23.12.
The foursome of Zofchak, Clark, Maisch and Clark won the 400 free relay in 4:19.50.
