The Dexter branch of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office dealt with three incidents since last Tuesday.
Deputies pulled over a 23 year old Ann Arbor woman for speeding, near the intersection of Zeeb and Jackson Roads, Friday, December 4th. They concluded after speaking to her that she was intoxicated. At 1:05 a.m. the woman failed a field sobriety test and was taken to the Washtenaw County Jail. The sheriff’s office is currently awaiting blood test results.
Deputies pulled over a second car near the corner of Dan Hoey and Baker Roads, Sunday, December 6th. It was at 6:12 p.m. when the deputies arrested the 35 year old Ann Arbor man. According to crimemapper.com this will be the man’s second Operating While Intoxicated offense, if convicted.
Deputies were called to the east side of town, between 1st and Edison Streets, Monday, December 7th at 8:47 a.m. Someone in Horseshoe park destroyed a bench and a unspecified amount of landscaping over the week end.
