See in Photos of Last Year’s Dexter Memorial Day Parade Why You Shouldn’t Miss This Year’s

They say that if you want to see the finest that a community has to offer, then make sure to check out their parades and festivals for a good synopsis, as well as a good show.

That’s exactly what Monday’s Memorial Day Parade in Dexter is each year. Led by the folks at the Dexter Rotary Club, the parade has been fine tuned and honed into a just-right event in terms of the number of participants and the length of the showing, which will include the best of that Dexter has to offer: the local veteran’s community and organizations, the school district’s music and cheer programs, the service clubs, various local organizations and so much more.

The following post we published earlier this week is a good rundown of the 2015 Dexter Memorial Day Parade, thanks to Rotary Club’s Parade Chairman Steve Feinman.

Thanks go out to DCS’s Hope Vestergaard for these photos from last year’s parade. Look to WeLoveDexter.com for photos and video of this year’s parade, for those who may be out of town or who no longer live in Dexter, but still enjoy seeing some of this town’s great local events.
