Huron Valley Harmonizers Coming to Scio For Yearly Fundraiser Event

If you love four-part a cappella in the barbershop style then there’s a nice opportunity to both experience a musical style that you enjoy, while at the same time supporting the perpetuation of the musical art form in and around Washtenaw County.

The Huron Valley Harmonizers represent barbershop quartet talents from in and around Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti and are a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. They’re also a non-profit organization dedicated to their craft.

The Harmonizers will be hosting their tenth annual wine tasting event at DeAngelis Cantina Del Vino, located at 7879 Jackson Road in Scio Township. Those who are interested in attending can do so for $15, which will go towards paying for music costs, licensing fees, and general organizational expenses for the group.

The Washtenaw chapter of this organization has been around since the 70s providing opportunities for men from all over southeast Michigan to musically express themselves in this classic all-American musical tradition.
