Get ready for “A Night at the Museum”

The front of the historic Gordon Hall, 8341 Island Lake Rd. in Dexter, on Dec. 18 following the removal of most of the Christmas decorations.

The Dexter Area Historical Society has a very special night planned on Friday, May 1 starting at 7 p.m. in hopes of raising funds to continue the good work that this group of dedicated volunteers undertakes throughout the year.

Visitors will be provided beverages and Hors-D’oeuvres, as well as guided tours of the museum. An exhibit of clothing through the ages will be available and authors Nicholas Marsh and James Parker will talk to attendees.

Tickets are $25. Reservations must be made by April 25. The museum’s phone number is 734-426-2519. It is located at 3443 Inverness Road. Checks can be mailed to the society at the full address included in the event flier below.
