Dreadnaughts swim past Skyline, improve to 2-0

The Dexter swimming and diving team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 100-86 win Sept. 7 over Ann Arbor Skyline. The Dreadnaughts won only four individual events and one relay but earned enough points with their great depth to out swim the Eagles.

The Dreads swept the 200 freestyle with Annette Schultz taking first (1:53.82) and Charlotte Schultz in second and Sarah Zofchak third.

Amelia Kinnard won the 200 IM in 2:07.54.

Annette Schultz won the 100 free in 52.81.

The Dreadnaughts took one-two in the breaststroke with Zoe Michos taking first in 1:11.38 and Kamille Balcom touching second.

Grace Kacmarek was second in the butterfly (1:00.84), Amelia Kinnard was second in the backstroke (58.29), Hannah Quist was second in the 50 freestyle (25.29), Nicole France was second in diving (245.4 points) and Sarah Zofchak was second in the 500 freestyle (5:11.20).
