Dreadnaughts spike Bishop Foley in non-league match

The Dexter volleyball team’s tournament over the weekend was canceled but the Dreadnaughts head into a busy part of the schedule fresh off an impressive win last week over Madison Heights Bishop Foley Catholic High School.

All three Dexter teams – freshmen, junior varsity and varsity – won their matches with Foley.

The varsity team won 25-19, 25-15 and 25-12.

Dexter was led by Alexa Bell with 10 service aces and 23 assists. Taylor Venuto led with 9 kills and Brooklyn Brown with 7 kills.

The Dreads play at Bedford Tuesday evening and that is all for this week. But the following week things heat up with:
Sept. 19 Home vs. Tecumseh
Sept. 23 at Novi tournament
Sept. 26 at Lincoln
Sept 30 at Saline Tournament
