Most Wanted is celebrating 20 years of rock & roll this year and has performed over 3,800 live stage hours during the last two decades.
The members of Most Wanted, including Mark Hiser (guitar and vocals), Greg Kerkes (drums), Mike Sabol (bass) and Charlie Block (lead guitar), have released five full length original indie rock albums on various formats and has published over 65 songs with BMI.
The band has recorded at several studios including The Loft, Overture and Toyland Studios and has worked with Sponge guitarist Andy Patalan on several projects as engineer and co-producer.
Several songs have made national radio play including the first single released in 1998 “Can I See You” since then, the band has landed several singles on nation play lists. “Wallets” and “Just Like A Girlfriend” from the 2012 “Revelation Station” release are currently doing very well online.
Most Wanted signed with Megawave Records in Lansing, Michigan in 1999 and released “Most Wanted” and “Tattoo Girls.”
After three years with Megawave, the band started it’s own label Stone Alley Records and looked towards digital distribution in lieu of regional store placement of its recordings. All material is currently available for digital distribution through itunes, amazon, Walmart, rhapsody and many other sites.
In addition to playing locally at The Alley this Friday night, February 20, Most Wanted will be opening for Saving Abel in Detroit on April 1.
The band has revamped it’s live show for 2015 and looking forward to a busy year. They also will be working on the next recording beginning this summer.
