Dexter Community Orchestra To Perform With DHSO For Holidays

Dexter Community Orchestra will be performing their annual Holiday Concert on Sunday Dec. 17, 4:00 PM, at Dexter High School Center for the Performing Arts.

The concert is a huge production in conjunction with Dexter High School Orchestras. The groups have been combining their efforts for the annual holiday show since 2012.

Along with familiar holiday tunes, the orchestras will be performing Arcangelo Corelli’s “Christmas Concerto” which was first published in 1714 and bears the inscription Fatto per la notte di Natale which means “made for the night of Christmas”.

Refreshments and treats will be offered after the concert with a chance to mingle with the musicians.

You can find more information on Dexter Community Orchestra on their website.
