A Sneak Peak at Dexter’s Two New Sports Fields

Construction continues at Dexter High School on two new multi-use sports fields.

The fields will be artificial turf with lights for extended play. These fields are modeled after other such multi-sport fields that are marked for a variety of play such as field hockey, lacrosse, rugby, football, and soccer. The two fields are soccer-sized since that is the sport with the largest field of play.

The new “multi-multi-use fields”, as Board member Dick Lundy describes them, are slated to be completed by August 1st so all teams will have field access getting ready for fall sports.

Below is the conceptual drawing.
